What is PINATA?

  • What is PINATA?

    PINATA is a technology platform built specifically for field marketing and trade promotions. With powerful, easy-to-use software and helpful service, we make offline campaigns easier to execute, more efficient, and more measurable by bringing all your work into one centralized command center. Our mission is to help you improve ROI in the field while simplifying your day-to-day work.

  • Why does Gallo NJ use PINATA?

    Gallo NJ has been working with PINATA since 2017, powering both internal tastings and external agencies tastings. PINATA provides a consolidated command center for sales reps to request gigs for their manager’s approval. This allows all Gallo NJ members access to create, manage, and track all field activity in real-time across sales reps and staffing partners. 

Accessing your Gallo dashboard

  • I’m new to PINATA. Where do I begin?

    If you’ve already received an email invitation to the Gallo NJ dashboard on PINATA, simply follow the sign-up link in your email and create an account. After doing so, you will have access to the Gallo NJ programs specific to your group. 

    If you have not received an invitation, to ensure Gallo NJ security you must be invited by your Account Manager, Alyse Conlon (alyse@gopinata.com). Please reach out to her to get an invitation. She will also be happy to answer any questions you have and give you an overview of PINATA software.

  • I have an account. Where do I log in?

    Access your PINATA Dashboard at dashboard.gopinata.com.

Working with staffing agencies

  • What staffing agencies work with Gallo NJ?

    Gallo NJ works with (2) staffing agencies on PINATA. In addition to sales reps requesting to execute gigs themselves, they can request gigs for their internal agencies. The two agencies are Star Quality Marketing and VSquared.

  • How do I send gigs to my preferred agency?

    To request gigs for your preferred agency to execute, sales reps must first submit the gig for approval to their manager. Once your manager approves gig (note: you can approve multiple gigs at once), your selected agency is notified to staff the gig. The brand ambassador completes the gig and submits their report to the agency for verification.

How it works - Sales Reps

  • How to create a gig for approval?

    All gigs must be submitted to your manager for approval. We have included a video below to show you how to create a gig. Once you have added in all gig details, you can submit your gig for approval. Your manager will receive a notification to review, approve and assign you. Once assigned, you will receive an email letting you know this action has been taken.

  • How to submit a report?

    When a manager approves and assigns you to a gig, you will receive a notification via email. Additionally, you will receive a text message ~20 minutes prior to the gig start time. If you did not receive either notification, please contact your manager. Click the link from the email to be routed to the field report. Once completed you can submit to your manager for verification.

How it works - District Managers

  • How to approve gigs on PINATA?

    All gigs created by a sales rep must be submitted to their managers for approval. Approving gigs is simple and easy!

  • How to verify gigs on PINATA?

    All gigs completed by a sales rep (gigs not staffed by an external staffing agency) will need to be verified by the manager for completion. Once the sales rep completes their gig and submits a report, the manager will receive an email notification prompting them to verify it. The completed gig will be in the Needs Review section of your dashboard. Click on the gig, review the report, and click verify.
